
「賽馬會專業創未來計劃」是一個不一樣的專業發展歷程,以獨特且系統化的一條龍培訓模式來支持和提升年青人由學校過渡到職場的就業能力, 並讓他們認識自己的VASK ,即價值觀 (Values)、態度 (Attitudes)、技能 (Skills) 及知識 (Knowledge),共建社會價值。
四大專業領域:「文創」、「創科」、「商社」及「社健」孕育發展「以人為本」的專業工作,幫助年輕人才發展未來專業。首屆計劃於2020年12月開展,香港賽馬會與包括中大香港亞太研究所等教育及培訓夥伴,和189個來自各行各業的僱主合作, 為首次求職的大專畢業生提供469個為期一年的見習機會。 僱主及見習生對整個計劃的理念及成效有正面評價,認同有助提升就業及工作能力,更進一步鼓勵僱主為行業培育新血,支持行業長遠發展。 計劃特地製作了一條短片分享第一屆計劃的成果,當中邀請了多位「有心」僱主及見習生分享參與計劃後他們對有心專業領域 (caring professions) 的新體會及計劃為他們帶來的得着及改變。
僱主普遍認為見習生為機構注入創新元素、新動力和提升團隊士氣外,計劃突破傳統以學歷、專業資格為本的招聘模式,改為採用求職者的「VASK」作人才配對,讓機構全面考慮其所需人才的特質。 此外,在見習期間,僱主給予見習生多元學習空間和機會協助他們在不同工作崗位發揮潛能,僱主和見習生都可互相啟發,共同成長。
至於參與計劃的見習生則表示很慶幸踏上這趟自我探索之旅,讓他們成長和擴闊視野。 這一年見習機會帶給見習生很大的滿足感,全因計劃賦予他們行業摸索的機會,推動他們接觸新事物,發揮潛能,培養對人、工作及社區關愛的態度,為未來事業發展考慮更多的可能性。
第二屆計劃開展至今已有超過200名見習生,分别在150多個有心僱主的「以人為本」見習職位上展開新的歷程。最後一期有近400個「有心」全職見習職位空缺,現已開始接受報名!除大專生外,本屆亦擴大規模,歡迎香港中學文憑 (HKDSE) 或同等學歷的畢業生參加。 熱切期待有更多年青人邁向有心的專業領域,信心滿滿展開職業新征程!
JC PROcruit C is a unique and structured “through-train” traineeship programme that supports graduates’ school-to-work transition and improves their work readiness. It helps them discover their most valued VASK (Values, Attitudes, Skills, Knowledge) and empowers them to create social value together.
The first phase of the programme was launched in December 2020. Working with 189 forward-looking employers, the Jockey Club, along with HKIAPS and other education and training partners, offered 469 one-year traineeships across the four sectors of Creativity, Technology, Business and Healthcare. To showcase its achievements, a short video was produced featuring employers and trainees from the first phase, who shared their newfound insights into “caring professions” and the changes they experienced after participating in the programme.
Employers in general have been impressed with trainees’ enthusiasm, innovative mindsets, and ability to inject positive energy into their organisations. In addition, they have indicated that the programme’s unique VASK model has enabled them to gain a more comprehensive understanding of their talent needs.
On the other end of the equation, trainees have also expressed their gratitude for being able to embark on a journey of self-discovery. It has given them the opportunity to explore their industry of interest and to cultivate a caring attitude towards their community, thus paving the way for their long-term career development.
Since the launch of JC PROcruit C Phase 2, over 200 trainees and 150 caring profession employers have joined the current phase. There are now 400 traineeship opportunities open for application to graduates interested in joining the coming cohort. Besides graduates with bachelor’s degrees or sub-degrees, the programme has now extended to accept graduates of the HKDSE or equivalent academic programmes. We eagerly look forward to the prospect of more graduates joining caring professions and embarking on their career journeys with full confidence.
