中大香港亞太研究所於今年6月和10月為「賽馬會專業創未來計劃」近二百位見習生舉辦了兩場社會創新網絡研討會，以牛津大學斯科爾社會企業家中心介紹的社會創新五大概念為基礎，進一步分享了不同相關工具，以利見習生在職場及工餘時分析及尋找創新方法去滿足社會需求。

第一場研討會介紹了一間教育科技初創公司的成功個案和經驗，展示社會創新理念和相關工具的應用。見習生於小組討論環節中以各種身份模擬游說不同的持份者，進一步建立了對社會創新概念的認識。

第二場研討會再深入闡釋了社會創新的理論工具，透過真實社區個案啟發見習生利用社會創新思維解決不同的社會問題，以達致可持續發展。

本所將於11月及下年3月再次舉辦共四場研討會，與另外約三百名見習生交流，我們希望見習生能實踐所學的知識，從而獲益良多。

In June and October 2023, HKIAPS organised two Social Innovation Webinars for close to 200 trainees of the JC PROcruit C professional traineeship programme. Building on the five key concepts of social innovation from the University of Oxford Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, our lecturers further shared different tools to help trainees analyse and find innovative ways to alleviate social problems at work and in their leisure time.

Webinar 1 featured the success story of an education technology start-up to show how social innovation concepts and theoretical tools could be applied. During their small group discussions, trainees role-played as different parties pitching to different stakeholders, thus deepening their understanding of social innovation.

Webinar 2 discussed theoretical tools for social innovation in further depth. Using a real-life case study, it encouraged trainees to help solve different social problems through social innovation thinking, thus contributing to sustainable societal development.

HKIAPS will hold four more Social Innovation Workshops this coming November and March for 300 trainees. We hope that the trainees can put what they have learnt into practice and thereby accelerate their personal and professional growth.
